Flower Pen

For those procrastinators out there, here is another quick, easy (and affordable) gift you can make for Mom for Mother's Day.  (It's this Sunday you know!)

Supplies needed:
Pen
artificial flower
ribbon or floral tape
glue (hot glue would be better)
patience

*any pen will do
*they have artificial flowers at the dollar store (and hot glue, too as I found out the other day!)

Yes.  It's that easy!

Make sure you have a good size length on your artificial flower (but not longer than the pen). 

Hold the flower against the pen and glue a piece of your floral tape or ribbon to the top of the pen. 

Start wrapping the tape/ribbon around and around the pen until you get to the bottom of the pen.

Don't go too far!  Make sure you can still write with it.  :) 

Glue the ribbon/tape to the pen and you are done. 

See?  Wasn't that easy? 

Make a few of these and place them in a pretty vase to put on Mom's desk or counter so she can have fresh, pretty flowers from you all of the time!
