Fun Summer

It was late. It's the day before the first day of school. The kids are a little excited. School supplies are out and getting put into backpacks. Lunches are being made. Clothes are being put out to wear (ok, that one is just Bella). 

We were talking and laughing a little. Alex said that this was a fun summer. He went on to say that he had a lot of fun and laughed a lot this summer with us and his friends. 

I was happy to see Alex enjoying life and laughing. Thinking about the positive, happy memories. Yea, Summer is ending but I had a lot of fun.   

 Knowing Alex, I'm sure the laughter and fun will continue throughout the school year.
