I thought I would practice my little Susie Homemaker skills and whip up a batch of cookies this afternoon. Before I started cleaning (my most favorite thing ever to do) I took out some butter and put it on the counter. I wanted it to soften up a bit before I started making cookies.
Unfortunately, with a temperature of -1F (outside, of course, it's warmer inside) and sitting on a cold kitchen counter for a few hours, it really didn't soften that much.
Hoping to greet the kids when they get home with cookies and hot chocolate.
Also hoping to win the best mom ever award. Wish me luck!
