We have three lavender plants in the front of our house. I call the area, "the lavender fields." The other day, Bella and I harvested the lavender from "the lavender fields," and hung it to dry.
I have quite a bit of dried lavender from our recent harvest. So far I have made a sachet (sewn), and a lavender bag (used a small organza bag to put under your pillow....it's great if you have problems sleeping).
Looking forward to using it in soap, potpourri and put in a bag for the dryer (similar to dryer sheets).
Do you have any other useful ideas for dried lavender?
